DIGITAL MEDIA

Kalsky Animation and Design is in collaboration with Red7 Creative Agency to produce animated digital advertisements for a number of recent brand campaigns.

 

ADVERTISING

Kalsky Animation and Design collaborated with Mr. Wonderful, a design and effects company, to create a branding campaign for OLN's coverage of the National Hockey League. Designed and delivered in 1080i HD, and 4:3 NTSC.

 

VIRAL MARKETING

In association with AnimaticMedia, Kalsky Animation and Design developed an animated, viral promotion for the first generation iPhone.

 

ART INSTALLATIONS

The work of Brooklyn-based visual artist Matthew Weinstein has been called 'hallucinatory' and 'magnetic' by The New York Times. Kalsky Animation and Design, in collaboration with Beacon Digital, continue to work collaboratively with the artist to create award-winning animation.

Light and the Sufferer is an American feature-film which blends live action with 3D animation. This coming-of-age drama stars Paul Dano, Paz de La Huerta and Paul D'Amato. Directed by Christopher Peditto.

"March 20, 2012: The Charlotte Symphony announced today that it will feature the world premiere of a digitally animated work of art by Matthew Weinstein at the KnightSounds performance of "Bolero Comes Alive" on May 4.

Weinstein's commissioned piece is a 16 minute original animated video to be displayed on a screen suspended above the orchestra. The audience will experience brilliant animation in sync with the hypnotic music of Ravel's Bolero. This is the first commissioned work under the leadership of Music Director Christopher Warren Green. It will be performed during the Symphony's new multi sensory KnightSounds series." More»

Milt Kahl was born Milton Erwin Kahl on March 22, 1909 in San Francisco, California, on March 22, 1909. One of the original nine Disney animators known as 'the nine old men,' Kahl is largely considered one of the best draftsmen that the studio could lay claim to.
